| I have written material for a wide range of publications and purposes: User manuals, training manuals, help files, magazine articles, a short book, parts of electronics text books, case studies, customer success stories, even a bit of fiction. I also have done a lot of marketplace research, feasibility studies and needs assessment work that included writing reports. Lately, in addition to user manuals, I have been doing some web content, data sheets and marketing communications.

Examples of recent projects:
- In progress: design, writing, editing, project management of 200 standard operating procedures for a city water treatment utility
- Designed, wrote, edited a 600 page operations manual for a city water treatment utility
- Wrote user manuals for several wireless base stations
- Wrote user manuals for several different Ethernet and wireless serial device servers
- Wrote a user manual for PCI-based multiple serial interface expansion cards
- Wrote a Windows help system with more than 100 topics
- Created several quick start guides
- Wrote a user manual for a Power over Ethernet (PoE) RS-232 to Ethernet converter
- Taught an industrial data communications course to instrumentation college students
- Taught a data acquisition course to chemical technology college students
- Design, tested and wrote a dozen laboratory procedures to support the data acquisition course
- Wrote two web content articles explaining wireless Ethernet and PoE
- Wrote a set of employment qualifications and skill sets for an electronic manufacturer
- Wrote an evaluation tool to test new employees on their knowledge of electronics
- Upgraded the websites of a colleague and a non-profit organization
- Edited and formatted proposals and specifications for another technical writer
